I grew up in Northern California, where my parents and brother still live, a short flight away. College at Princeton (New Jersey), medical and graduate school at Northwestern (Chicago), and pediatric residency at Duke (North Carolina) have taken me around the US, the last stop was lucky as that’s where I met Alex. Now, we are both excited about putting down roots in the Pacific Northwest.

Currently, I work as a Pediatric Oncologist, taking care of patients at Seattle Children’s Hospital and doing research and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. People sometimes think that’s a hard job to have, and while it can be at times, I’m constantly amazed at the resilience and spirit of the kids I work with, and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything else in the world.

In my free time I enjoy playing guitar, listening to live music, and all manner of water sports. I’m equally happy playing “Top Chef” in the kitchen or cooking up traditional barbeque in the backyard. And of course hanging out with my nieces and nephew, more often than not serving as their human jungle gym.
